IO Echo: Perfectly captured the "aaaaaagggggggggggghhhhhhh" feeling of every teenage girl ever.
Hot Chip: Completely blew away my expectations; crazy-dizzy strobe lights plus dancing equals awesome.

you know what? you hit the nail on the head! io echo was really exciting and urgent in that kind of teenage spawn-of-siouxsie-and-the-banshees way, i ended up really loving them, and hot chip TOTALLY blew me away!!!! their lights are sick and their new songs even sicker. i love how they're all nerdy but really fun and emotional at the same time. i felt really excited to be there. great great great show.
